new windows with window world

If you’ve followed along on Project War Eagle, you know it’s been quite the build. You can see all the progress here: {sneak peek, demo days, demo update {because we took it to the foundation} + framing.} The week before Thanksgiving, we tackled the next phase: new windows and doors! This is always the part where it starts to feel real and come together, and we’re here for it!

To move forward with who our clients chose for this particular phase, you need to know why. Window World is our most trusted source for recommending a great, trustworthy company with amazing causes. We’ve actually used them in every single phase of our renovation. So when our clients ask us who they should use, it’s obvious to us. We can also speak from our own experiences with an amazing company and its wonderful products.

The seemingly small changes make a huge difference, from energy efficiency to clearer views and, honestly, all the little things you don’t have to worry about because they’ve got it handled. From the tiniest details on why the sun will no longer fade your furniture to the installation process and what even happens if it breaks… they’ve got you. Switching out windows AND adding new ones in our multiple experiences with clients and our own home, has been a seamless experience.

Because our personal home’s transformation has been seamless, we always want our clients to know about Window World. Sourcing new doors and windows can be a confusing and overwhelming process, but they make it all simple.

Be sure to check out more of our home transformation with Window World here. They’ve been with us every step of our journey, from full outside changes to additions, remodels in multiple stages, and more. Clearly, we adore them. So now that you understand why we can speak from our own personal experience… and that Good Housekeeping seal of approval amongst other accolades, let’s talk about the process.

We wanted to share this phase of our clients’ renovation: The really exciting part! As with all things construction, sometimes the house dictates what you do next. While this was not intended to be a total demo, little surprises found along the way made these homeowners decide to do it right. And so they did – from fresh walls eliminating termite damage and more… to core filling that foundation. The ceiling heights alone make it all worth it, but those windows and doors are like the perfect piece of jewelry for a good outfit: They make this house sparkle.

This view from their front door looking out, is going to be glorious. I mean, it already is.

But I’m getting ahead of myself here, because this is another example of how quick and seamless their process always is.

They showed up that morning and were ready to go.

These results are stunning. I’m also still impressed with how large and in charge these windows are and how hard this installation crew worked.

These muddy conditions made the work even harder, and we were impressed with their ingenuity in managing such sturdy, beautiful pieces that are key to this design.

Their front doors are so pretty. We’re loving the black accents on this gorgeous home. Wait until you see the other finishes!

Upon entering their house, you have the family room on the right and this view of their kitchen. The study is to the left. Behind each door is the butler’s pantry {right} and their locker / main entry from the garage {left}.

Here’s view from their garage entry. {Also, I can’t stop drooling over these doors.}

She’s a vet, so this space will hold lockers {not shown, behind the shot to the left of the door when walking in} two kennels and a dog shower. The wallpaper alone is going to be so fun in this space. This view standing in the kitchen and looking into their study is fantastic. We love the way these windows just accentuate each space.

View of their study, when standing in the kitchen.

Out of this door, leads to their back porch.

Where the house connects to their primary suite, and they have this glorious space for entertaining.

On the other side of that glorious transom view opposite their great room and beside the kitchen, is this fireplace. It backs up to the outside. They’re going with a beautiful traditional brick. These windows on each side make it look so good!

The rest of their home includes four bedrooms and baths, separated down a nice hallway for plenty of privacy. We love the way all of this is coming together!

Their primary bath will look so good with these Window World windows! I can’t wait to show you more on how they’ll bring this entire house to life.

While all of this was going on, we had fun reconnecting with our favorite Window World crew and filming some fun content at our house, too. We can’t wait to share that as well! Jamin may have gotten a little carried away.

We’re so grateful for this hardworking crew and the beautiful, trustworthy product that will be a part of our client’s home.

How cute are our signs together in our client’s yard?

Stay tuned…we can’t wait to share more. Have an inspired day!
