I love decorating my Christmas tree with cookie ornaments. This time I used my brown butter cookie recipe, but I my gingerbread cookie recipe is my favorite to use for decorating the tree because the cookies smell amazing!

Here’s what you’ll need to make these edible Christmas cookie ornaments
These supplies are available in my Amazon store unless otherwise noted
- Chilled sheet of cookie dough (I used my brown butter cookie recipe)
- Ornament cookie cutters
- Royal icing
- Super Red and Black food coloring (Ann Clark or Chefmaster brand)
- 3 12” decorating bags
- Scribe tool
- Wilton decorating tip 2
- Couplers & Bag ties (I used Wilton brand)
- Decorator brushes (I used Sweet Sticks brand)
- Red edible paint (I used Sweet Sticks brand)
- Red and Vanilla Bean (cream color) luster dust (I used Sweet Sticks brand)
- Vodka, grain alcohol, extract, or paint powder activator
- Paint palette or small dish
- Granulated sugar
- String
