I don’t consider myself a foodie…unless you count stuffing your face with other people’s food–cause I do LOVE to eat.ANd I definitely would never call this a food blog.
But I still like to be cool and pretend I know what I’m doing.
So I came up with a really fun Halloween drink that is ridiculously easy to make!!!
Supplies to make Halloween drink
I originally found these eyeballs at Joann Craft stores- but have not seen them around the past few years! Here are some alternatives:
How to make the peep straws
The peep straws are so easy to make! You could just do these as totally fun way to dazzle up any drink!
Take your straw and poke it up through your peep. Since the peep is marshmallow, it will get a little sticky. I took a damp paper towel and carefully wiped off any stickiness.
I did not have any peep pieces go down into the straw! If you do, take a toothpick and just get it out!
Stick your straw in any fun beverage!
You can do this for any holiday that serves fun shaped peeps! Easter,
How to make the Easy Halloween Drink
Its best to prepare these right before serving to prevent the eyeball from getting gross and the nerds from dissolving!
I added ice first into the cup. I placed the eyeball in so it was facing out. It will shift and move around but I wanted to set it up the best that I could.
Pour in the sprite. You can use other liquids besides sprite. I just wanted a nice clear liquid so I could see the eyeball floating around. Then I sprinkled the nerds. I used green nerds which ended up making the drink a little green in color! So purple nerds= purplish drink!
The ice keeps the nerds and eyeballs from going straight down the bottom!
Then add your straw and enjoy your drink!
Here’s how they looked at the very first…it took about 5-10 minutes for the color to start changing!
Variations of the easy drink
I also created a slushie version– Freezing the pop in ice cube trays! So you can try that!
I’ve got eyeball printables to add to the straw in case you don’t want to add peeps.
Here are some Halloween drink wraps! Put them around your bottle of Sprite to add some extra fun.
Try freezing some gummy worms in your ice cube tray!
So there you go! A super fantastic easy drink that looks Fantastic on any Halloween table!!!
As you can see-they were a big hit!!
